Role & Responsibilities
We're seeking a working student in 20 hours/week at our location in Berlin to join our Printhead Quality Assurance team and contribute directly to the characterization of printheads - a core product of our company. In this role, you will support the evaluation of incoming printheads that are distributed to customers worldwide, gaining hands-on experience in high-tech product quality and manufacturing processes.
What you will be doing
You will be supporting the Quality Assurance team by performing standardized characterization and testing of incoming printheads. The role ensures that only compliant, high-quality printheads are released for global distribution.
- Perform characterisation and testing of incoming printheads according to defined procedures
- Operate test equipment and characterisation setups
- Document and evaluate measurement results accurately
- Identify deviations and report abnormalities to the team
- Support data organization, traceability, and reporting
- Follow quality, safety, and handling standards at all times
Education & Experience
What we are looking for
- Enrolled student in Berlin with studies in the fields of engineering, materials science, natural science or any related
- Basic technical understanding and ability to work with test or measurement equipment
- Ability to follow test procedures, work instructions, and quality guidelines
- Basic data handling and documentation skills (e.g. Excel or similar tools)
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent quality
- Willingness to learn and adapt to standardized testing environments
- Awareness of quality, safety, and handling requirements for sensitive products
- Reliable, structured, and independent working style
- Team-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
- Adaptable to change, able to adjust quickly when new requirements arise
- Good written and verbal skills in English
- German or other languages are a plus
